Squarely is a free calculator for people painting, re-flooring or trimming a room. You measure each room once and it works out floor area, wall area, paint, flooring boxes, baseboard and an estimated cost.
It was built by a quality engineer who got tired of standing in the paint aisle doing math on her phone and still buying the wrong amount. Every formula in the app is shown in the guides, so you can check the numbers yourself.
The free version handles one project with up to three rooms. Squarely Pro is a one-time $2.99 purchase that adds unlimited projects and rooms, a shareable shopping list, printing and PDF, and removes ads.
There's no account and nothing to sign up for. Your rooms and projects are saved in your own browser. See the privacy policy for details.
